After receiving his BBA in Finance from UTSA, Joe began his career in the savings and loan financial sector, advanced into a boutique mortgage broker, and flourished into a position as a Sr. Private Mortgage Banker at a nationally recognized bank. Joe held leadership positions within each company and arranged over a billion dollars in mortgage funding.
As a result of the Great Recession, the banking industry shifted to managing risk and compliance, directly contradicting the customer's needs. After witnessing this reaction from the industry, Joe recognized it created a knowledge gap for individuals seeking to maneuver the mortgage and commercial lending space. And so, Lending Service Advisers was born.
